We install and maintain a wide range of extinguishing mediums, sizes and finishes which include; water, foam, co2, powder, wet chemical and fire blankets. In addition to these, Lithium battery fire extinguishers, which are brand new to the market, are now available to our customers.

Types of Fire Extinguishers

POWDER

Powder is intended for Class A, B, C and Electrical risks. A: wood, paper B: petrol, diesel C: Flammable Gases and Electrical. Not to be used in confined spaces, for example, small kitchens.

WET CHEMICAL

Wet Chemical fire extinguishers will work on Class A fires but mostly used on Class F, Fat fires. Situated near kitchens, creates a foam barrier, removing oxygen from fire.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

This is the only fire extinguisher that will work on Lithium-Ion Battery fires. It can also be used for Class A fires. With so many electric vehicles now commonplace, here is your defence!

WATER

Water fire extinguishers are for use on Class A fires only such as wood, paper, cardboard and furnishings. Most importantly, do not use on flammable liquids or electrical fires.

FOAM

Foam can be used on Class A and B fires. Contains 94% water, 6% foam concentrate. Efficient on flammable liquids such as petrol, diesel and alcohol fires.

CO2

CO2 is for Class B flammable liquid fires but are mostly intended for Electrical risks. Subsequently, CO2 starves the fire of oxygen causing the fire to go out. Often used in offices.
