Fire Risk Assessments

We provide PAS 79-1 Commercial Fire Risk Assessments and PAS 79-2 Residential Fire Risk Assessments. We are able to carry these out in England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and around the world.

In short, whatever the type of business you own or manage, there is a good chance that you require a Fire Risk Assessment. Consequently, we have the experience, knowledge and qualifications to be able to provide you with the correct Fire Risk Assessment applicable to your needs.

We will arrange a site visit to your premises and carry out a survey, during which time, ask set questions from the corresponding Fire Risk Assessment. Subsequently, all information will be collected by the assessor and a report will be produced. The outcome of this report will identify risks that help you and your premises conform to British Standards and ultimately help you and your business to stay safe from fire.

Fire Risk Assessments Explained.

Residential or Commercial?

Initially, we need to establish what category your premises falls upon. Residential (for example; apartment block, sheltered accommodation, nursing home) or Commercial (for example; café, restaurant, shop, office building).

Now we have this information, we can match the type of assessment with the location (e.g. England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Rest of World).

Identify the Hazard

First, we must identify all potential fire hazards and the possible risk to life so that we dont have a situation like in the above images, where an accumulation of combustible material (rubbish) can easily increase fire potential. This type of situation would accelerate the speed of a small fire growing into a large out-of-control fire.

Fire Risk Assessment Report

A Fire Risk Assessment report similar to the one pictured above is produced. The document is normally 20-30 pages in length and contains important fire safety information, broken down into detailed sections. Images are added to assist information.

The document is sent to the customer in pdf format, so you can save to your cloud or print as many copies as required.
